The Ministry of Economy, Science and Digitalisation creates optimal conditions for research excellence and entrepreneurship in Sachsen-Anhalt. It arranges the economic and research funding as well as the higher education area.
Focus is on close cooperation between business and science and on subjects of innovation, investment and internationalisation. In addition, the Ministry is also responsible for the issues of digitalisation, start-up promotion, mining and tourism. Object of the Ministry´s activities is to strengthen Sachsen-Anhalt as an attractive centre of business and science.
