Quedlinburg
Quedlinburg’s Old Town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. It is considered to be an exceptional example of a mediaeval European town, and as such is a constant source of fascination to visitors.

The Luther Sites in Wittenberg and Eisleben
Eisleben and Wittenberg placed Sachsen-Anhalt at the heart of the Reformation. Since 1997, Luther's House and Melanchthon's House in Wittenberg as well as Luther's birthplace and the house where he died in Eisleben have been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom
The Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since November 2000, reflects the englightened mindset of the Dessau court with its unique concentration of historic monuments. The landscape became a 'world view' of its time.

The Bauhaus in Dessau
The Bauhaus, which was founded in Weimar 1919 before continuing in Dessau between 1926 and 1932, occupies a special role in the history of culture, architecture, design, art and the new media of the 20th century. In 1996, both locations were included in the list of World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.
