Music in Sachsen-Anhalt
An impressive baroque music tradition has been kept alive in Sachsen-Anhalt. The work of the great masters
is still cherished today at regular festivals held in Saxony-Anhalt at the authentic locations of Halle, Magdeburg, Köthen and Zerbst.
A great composer of more recent times is also remembered at the annual Kurt Weill Festival in Dessau.
